Baglio DiAr is a young, family-run winery in Marsala that makes only certified organic wines, and its guided tour and five-wine tasting is the lowest-priced wine experience on this site. For the price of a glass in a city bar you get the winery walk, five wines and the estate's own olive oil.

A member of the team leads you through the winery and explains the whole process from harvest to aging, then tells the story of the estate and its labels, which are illustrated with references to Sicilian culture. Reviewers describe the tour as simple, friendly and unhurried, and small groups are the norm; couples sometimes find they have the visit to themselves.

The tasting covers the grapes of western Sicily rather than fortified Marsala: three whites made from Grillo, Catarratto and dry Zibibbo, a rosé from Nero d'Avola and a red from Perricone. The estate's organic extra virgin olive oil is served on croutons of durum wheat bread, with water.

The winery is on Via Sebastiano Lipari in Marsala with free parking outside, and the visit lasts about an hour and a half.
